Building

We’ll knock it down, throw it out and build it back up again in the required shape and size. All the usual to make the inside of a property, like doorways, false ceilings, stud walls, access hatches etc.

Carpentry

There is a little of this involved in most disciplines. For example, wardrobes and dressing rooms, sub floors, skirtings, architraves, panels, boxing, cupboards and units.

Plumbing

The art of getting water to run inside the pipes! All enabling work for heating systems, water feeds to gardens. kitchens, bathrooms and WC’s. Also gas supplies in the correct size for the new boilers.

Heating

Design of a modern and compliant system to suit your property and its room sizes. Zoned to suit the way you live and compliant with building regulations and gas safety requirements.

Electrical

I am convinced our electrician has x-ray vision! He and his assistant will completely re-wire or just re-light and switch, add sockets and/or change a fuseboard. We will issue the appropriate certificate on completion.

Lighting

You can build and decorate a property well, but it will never look right if the lighting is outdated or shabby. We can improve this on any property.

Decorating

Its all in the finish - nothing more to be said. We can also spray for an even better look.

Tiling

All types installed to high standards, including stone counter tops and recessed mirrors.

Flooring

Woods, engineered boards vinyls and carpets. Sorry, we don’t install laminates. They are the devils floor and not cost effective in the long run. Snobs we are not, except on this!

Bathrooms

My personal favourite. Everyone has their own ideas. We give you that look  and make it work for you or your tenants. We can make a 5000 bathoom look like one twice the price.

Kitchens

As above but with appliances! We have a good team on this and can fit things into difficult space with lateral thought.

Gardens

Different for owner occupiers than landlords. Tenanted properties need to be very low maintenance. We can help with ideas and get it done while the messy stuff can be taken through the property if there is no seperate access. Lighting and water can also be added.

Consultancy

A range of help we can offer charged on an hourly basis, usually resulting in cost savings for the client and builder. Overseeing specifications by others and advising. Quality control on projects  where we are not contracted. Mediation between client and contractors Technical advice during projects on methods and products. Joint specifying with surveyors and designers from the builders point of view. Our involvment as above at an early stage can save delays and money on even small projects. Our aim is to find practical and creative solutions. Feel free to discuss your needs with me so I can give you an estimate of costs.
